Hot Chocolate
- 2 tablespoons caster sugar
- 1/4 cup pure cream
- 2 cups milk
- 30g Flake chocolate bar, crumbled
- Combine sugar and 1 tablespoon cold water in a saucepan over low heat. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 5 minutes or until sugar turns dark brown. Gradually stir in cream. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened slightly.
- Gradually stir in milk. Add two-thirds of the Flake. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until milk simmers and nearly boils. Pour into warmed glasses. Top with remaining Flake. Serve.
- 3 cups milk
- 150g chopped dark or milk chocolate
- 4 marshmallows
- Warm 2 tall serving glasses. Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add chocolate, stirring constantly until fully melted. Pour into pre-warmed glasses and top with a couple of marshmallows. Allow marshmallows to melt before drinking.
- 100g Cadbury white chocolate baking block, finely chopped
- 100g Cadbury milk chocolate baking block, finely chopped
- 100g Cadbury dark chocolate baking block, finely chopped
- 2 litres (8 cups) milk
- 300ml thickened cream
- Vanilla marshmallows, to serve
- Cadbury Bournville cocoa, to dust
- Divide the chocolates evenly among heatproof serving glasses.
- Place the milk in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer. Remove from heat. Pour the hot milk over the chocolate and stir until chocolate melts.
- Meanwhile, use an electric mixer to whisk the cream in a medium bowl until soft peaks form.
- Sprinkle the marshmallows over the hot chocolates. Dollop with cream. Sprinkle with cocoa or chocolate shavings and serve immediately.
