Chocolate Weetbix Slice

  • ·7 weetbix crushed
  • ·2 1/4 cups SR flour
  • ·5 tablespoons cocoa
  • ·1 1/2 cups sugar
  • ·340g melted butter (more if needed)
Icing Ingredients:
  • ·7 heaped tablespoons icing sugar
  • ·1 heaped tablespoon cocoa
  • ·1 heaped tablespoon butter
  • ·boiling water
Coconut for sprinkling.
Crush weetbix, add flour, cocoa, sugar, mix well. Make a well in the centre and pour in melted butter (if mixture doesn’t come together add a little more butter). Press into large slice tray (25x30cm). Bake in MOD oven approx 1/2 hour.
Icing Directions:
  • ·Put everything in a bowl and pour a very small amount of boiling water over butter.
  • ·Stir until all mixed and a thick consistency.
  • ·Spread with chocolate icing while still warm and sprinkle with coconut.
  • ·Cut into slices when cooled
