Chicken Casserole with Cheesy Damper Top

40g butter/margerine
3 chicken breast fillets cut into 2 cm pieces
1 onion chopped
250g diced bacon
435g can cream of chicken soup
1 1/4 cups grated tasty cheese
300 ml sour cream
Damper Top:
1 cup self raising flour
2 eggs
2 cups grated tasty cheese
1/2 cup milk
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Casserole : Heat butter in a pan and lightly brown chicken pieces. Add chopped onion and diced bacon to pan and cook together for 2 – 3 mins.
Pour in soup, cheese and sour cream and mix well, then transfer to shallow baking dish.
Damper Top : Sift flour into bowl. Add eggs, 1 1/2 cups of cheese and milk. Mix until just blended. Top the casserole with the batter and bake uncovered for 30 mins.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake a further 5 mins. Serve with steamed green vegetables.
